Ease of Operation
The implementation of a breakthrough technology has resulted in a highly functional device allowing for efficient early detection of diabetic retinopathy, vital for the prevention of vision loss. Along with excellent functionality, the Camera features a design focused on the simplicity of use. Once the patient is seated, a click sound will inform that the patient is in a proper position and ready for screening. A Start button will show as enabled, allowing to begin testing, and the Camera lens will automatically capture the patient’s pupil. Once the image is taken, it is displayed on a large, 10.4" full color touch-screen for preliminary quality check and automatically transfers to the RetinaVue Network application. As the images are saved, they appear in the patient’s exam with a color coded quality indicator and can be submitted for expert diagnostics and reporting.
CenterVue DRS Camera features most recent technology that ensures test precision, less time consumption and almost fully automatic operation. It is assembled with a patient presence sensor, motorized chin-rest, automated lens alignment facilitated by two pupil cameras and an autofocus function with an adjustment range of -15D to +15D. It provides 45° x 40° field of view size and realizes target fixation with the help of 7 internal LEDs. In order to facilitate data storage, the Camera is equipped with an embedded PC featuring 160 GB hard disk. For the ease of data transfer, this unit supports Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection.
